Regular foot care is undertaken in a professional, clean environment with sterilised instruments. Podiatry is a registered profession, so a medical pedicure will include skin, callous and nail care to keep your feet looking and feeling great without the worry of attending an unhygienic nail bar.
Your foot care needs may be as simple as having trouble reaching or seeing your feet to self-care for your skin and nails. We enjoy seeing our regular patients who see us for quality footcare and a chat.
When you need assistance with ingrown nail surgery, fungal nail treatments, toenail cutting, callous and corn removal, diabetic ulcers, and wound management our podiatrists at Melbourne Foot Clinic are able to provide you with exceptional and high-quality services that are specific to your foot concerns and problems.
Many common skin and nail problems will not improve without treatment. Often, they get progressively worse and become more complicated to treat. Generally, the sooner you seek professional footcare, the better. Prevention is definitely better than cure.
Some of the most common foot conditions involve the skin and nails, and these conditions can be both painful and unsightly. The health of your toenails and skin can help identify other health problems you may have. It is important to maintain your toenails and the skin on your feet to prevent them from deteriorating causing further problems. If you have any questions, please ask us.
